So, I’m not going to say that my first “Just so you know, Mr. Quaker Oats …” post (read it here) is fully responsible for the slight redesign to the Quaker Oats packaging.
But I will happily take credit for 85%.
Yet I still must say, while the “Quick 1-Minute” and “Old Fashioned” area did get a little larger, I still think more could be done to help those shoppers less savvy than myself distinguish between the two. You know, since going through a redesign as it were.
Maybe change the backdrop behind Mr. Quaker in one?
Or maybe have him wearing his hair tied back in one of the portraits. I don’t know. Could be a bold new look for him, and could maybe even help sell more oats.
Just something to consider.
