This weekend we finally completed one of the many home projects on our list: the kitchen’s gallery wall. We pieced together some frames we already had from over the years and added a few new ones to the collection to finish off “the grid.”
For the artwork, we did some research and found this site where you can print out high-res renderings and illustrations for thousands (yes literally thousands) of plants. You do have to do some digging, but with some time and patience I was able to find ones that fit the color and style we were going for.
If you’re looking to do something similar, here are a few other sites to check out similar free printables, try:
- Plantillustrations.org (where we found all of ours)
- Simply Made (several plants/flowers and bird printable options)
- Cherished Bliss (6 herb printables)
- Gather & Flourish (olive branch printables)
- Dream Green DIY (botanical printables)
- Style Me Green (Fern printables)
And if you need some help figuring out how lay out your gallery wall, here are a few blogs to dig through, as well as a pic of another gallery wall we have in our tv room.
- Birkley Lane Interiors (40 gallery wall ideas)
- Classy Clutter (gallery wall ideas)
And as always, there’s PINTEREST.
Loving the prints! I have been looking for some nice botanical prints.
This looks gorgeous! I love the greenery.
