This week we did a Christmas round robin with several friends that live close by in our neighborhood. We each had a festive holiday cocktail for people to enjoy, along with a few apps. When we finished up our drinks and snacks, we bundled up and walked to the next house. YES it was a cold walk, but we put on some holiday tunes and it was lovely.
Ok, the reason you’re here. Not the story, but the recipe for the ranch water cocktail. We found the inspiration behind it from THIS BLOG POST but added our own little twist.
Here’s the recipe:
- 2 oz. tequila (we used Kirkland Signature Añejo Tequila and it was delish)
- 4 oz. Topo Chico
- Juice from 1/2 lime
- 1 oz (~splash) of cranberry juice
- Splash of simple syrup
- Garnish with fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary
You can also make a pitcher of this, which is what we did. To make it easy, here is what the recipe is if you are looking to quadruple the recipe:
- 8 oz. tequila
- 16 oz. Topo Chico
- Juice from 2 limes
- 4 oz. cranberry juice
- 1 to 2 oz simple syrup
- 4 oz. cranberry juice
The recipe was a real crowd pleaser and we’ll definitely be making it again this winter. To find the recipe quickly in the future, pin it below!
